We are Wade & Dana Matteson, a husband & wife team living in New England. Wade founded Devilish Devices in 2016 and operated solo until 2025, when Dana, who had worked previously as a woodblock printer and an artist in her own right, joined in to help. We are inspired by our mutual love of Halloween, horror, and medieval themes. With over a decade of professional leatherworking experience behind us, we are proud to offer you some of the finest leather items of their kind. Each detail is made with focus, intention, and passion for what we do.

What started as a journey toward making leather armor and accessories for the Renaissance Faire crowd took a sharp and unexpected turn towards the BDSM scene. Funny how these two worlds overlap! The reception was so warm that we stayed the course, and now, over 10 years later, we have established a reputation for ourselves within the kink community as one of the premier sources for handmade leather collars, bondage cuffs, and related accessories.

So what's up with the pumpkin bags??

Back in early 2025 a small business out of Arizona called Conflicted Gifts closed their doors and put the commercial license for their leather pumpkin bags up for sale. We were big fans of their work and immediately purchased the license. We couldn't let these wonderful bags disappear. With the support and guidance of the original designer, we are honored to continue their legacy.
